St. Andrew's Episcopal Church

Facing Memorial Field, this church building, in the English Norman style was consecrated in 1928. St. Andrew's is well known for its stained glass windows designed, produced, and installed by the famous Willet Studios of Philadelphia. Canterbury Hall, where First Night puppets are put on display is located on the ground floor of the parish life center.
University Baptist and Brethren Church

The first service in the UBBC building was held September 1927. The interior of the church has been modernized over the years and today features the work of well known artists such as Rob Fisher. The Fellowship Room, home of the Universal Soups and Sweets Shoppe is in the basement of the church.
State College Presbyterian Church

While State College Presbyterian Church was organized in 1890, the first services were held inside the present building, located at the corner of Beaver Avenue and Fraser Street in 1913. Some thought the new building to be far too large and out in the country. The building was added to in 1942 and again in 1994. The church's social hall is located under the sanctuary, and Westminster Hall is in the lower level of the church's Christian education building.
Faith United Church of Christ

Faith United Church of Christ celebrates its centennial year in 2009. It was founded in State College in 1909 as Faith Reformed Church. The church building, considered one of the most beautiful examples of Gothic Revival architecture in Pennsylvania, was constructed in the heart of the Great Depression, and dedicated in 1932. Romig Hall, site of the Chili Cafe, is located in the lower level of the church's education wing.
St. Paul's United Methodist Church

St. Paul's United Methodist Church was established in the late 19th century, and its first building was erected at the corner of College Avenue and McAlister Street in 1888. The current building was erected in 1912, though it was reconstructed completely after the building was gutted in a 1987 fire. The red brick Wesley Foundation building was erected adjacent to the church in 1952.
Citizens Bank Theatre

Finished in 2003, Citizens Bank Theatre is located in the Penn State Downtown Theatre Center. The theatre is an intimate 150-seat theatre, located in what was once the Danks Department Store. The theatre is the home to Pennsylvania Centre Stage, the resident professional theatre company at Penn State University.
State College Municipal Building

The State College Municipal Building is home to State College's local government. It sits behind a large brick plaza facing South Allen Street. The building's two story lobby is home to resolution sculptures. The Community Room is located on the building's second floor.
Schlow Centre Region Library

Located at the corner of Allen Street and Beaver Avenue, Schlow Center Region Library opened its doors to the community in October 2005. One of the five public libraries in the Centre County Federation of Public Libraries, a public library system, Schlow Library serves the six municipalities in the State College area.

First Night® State College's giant ice sculptures will be located in the 100 block of South Allen Street between College and Beaver Avenues.
Fairmount Avenue School Auditorium
The first unit of the State College High School opened its doors in September 1914. Located on Frasier Street between Nittany and Fairmount Avenues, the school building has been added to several times. It is now the home of the State College Area School District's Delta Program.
First Night® State College's Rockfest is held in the school auditorium, entered from Fairmount Avenue.
